Build to global standards — but build for Somalis first.
To build for the people of East Africa the digital infrastructure they own themselves — payments, identity, commerce and services — so they never again wait for someone else to build it.
The seven companies are the group’s brands, and between them they make ten platforms. They are built under one roof, share sign-in through JaalleID and one set of security standards, and are being brought onto one design.

From the founders
East Africa cannot be built from a blueprint imported from somewhere else.
Maysara Group did not begin in a boardroom. It began years ago as a conversation among a group of university students — Somalis who kept asking why the tools that run daily life everywhere else never seemed to reach home.
For a long time the answer was: wait. Wait for the international bank, the foreign company, the plan sent from abroad. We waited. Not much came.
Maysara Group is built on a different premise: every Somali is owed modern tools, systems that can be relied on, and a digital economy not fenced in by borders. That is not something to wait for. It has to be built.
For years the idea lived on paper and in late-night arguments. Today it is real — and the work has only just begun.
